When you purchase hearing aids from The Skipton Audiologist you also purchase the Audiologist’s skills, experience and knowledge. Working with our small team ensures your care meets your requirements throughout the life cycle of your hearing aids.
Best Practice Care
In our fully equipped clinic we can offer diagnostic hearing tests to ensure we know the status of your hearing health.
Our practice offers an annual hearing health check to all our hearing aid customers, along with unlimited appointments in between.
If you have any concerns regarding your hearing or ear health whilst wearing our hearing aids we want to be your first call.
When fitting hearing aids we use Best Practices to maximise your hearing potential.
As part of your hearing aid fitting we use a system called Real Ear Measurement. This system allows us to record what sound is reaching your ear drum from the hearing aids and provides great customisation of the sound for your hearing and ear shape and size.
Real ear measurements can also include speech mapping, so that we can also ensure speech is clear and comfortable using the same measurement system.
Using Real Ear Measurements is one of the elements considered to be best practice for verification of a hearing aid fitting.
